This is the second oldest golf club in Northumberland, over 125 years and still as popular with visitors. The mix of moorland and links makes Newbiggin a delight to play. The greens have a reputation as being some of the best in the county, receptive and always in good condition. Fairways are generous, and the rough is kept under control, so play is generally kept moving. There some blind shots, which make for an interesting round, but with a friendly welcome Newbiggin will be fondly remembered.
