Burgham Park is a recent addition to golf courses in Northumberland, designed by former Ryder Cup captain Mark James, it was opened in 1994. Since then huge investment has been made to make this one of the few genuine championship courses in the region. It measures over 7000 yards from the white’s and 6400 from the yellows. The course has rolling fairways, now mostly tree lined, it has several water hazards and some of the fastest greens around. It host’s The PGA Northern Region Championship in September and is always in tremendous condition.
Located just off the A1, access is very good - Morpeth is only a short drive and even from Newcastle it is only 25 minutes.
